Pet-Friendly Hotels in Miami Beach

While many hotels claim to be “pet-friendly,” only a very few go the extra mile to make your pet feel welcome. Some hotels allow dogs and cats, while others are more liberal with their pet policies. Here we’ve assembled a list of hotels allowing pets in Miami Beach that represent to best in pet-friendly services for you and your pet.

Aqua Hotel – Very pet-friendly hotel. Has “Pets Are People Too” program which includes a Welcome Basket for your pet with a small bag of gourmet dry food, a chewy bone and bottled water.

Casa Grande Suite Hotel – Dogs receive edible treat and chew toy. Cats receive cat treats and catnip toy. Pets stay in designated rooms and Pet fee is $25 per stay.

Fontainebleau Miami Beach Hotel – Pets accepted with an additional charge. The Fontainebleau is a gorgeous oceanfront hotel with direct access to the Boardwalk which runs all the way to South Pointe Park and makes for great morning walks for you and your pet.

Hotel Chelsea – This hotel is pet-friendly AND budget-friendly with its consistently thrifty room rates. The Hotel Chelsea accepts small pets with a fee of $15 per pet, per day.

Hotel Ocean – The hotel has an excellent location for pets directly across the street from Lummus Park and the Atlantic Ocean. There is a surcharge of $55.00 per day for pets ($45.00 per day special reduction for long stays of 3 nights or more), and a walking service can also be arranged for an additional fee.

Loews Miami Beach Hotel – Great oceanfront location with direct access to Boardwalk. No pet weight restrictions, but there is a one-time $25 fee. Only certain rooms are available for guests with pets. Leashes, collars, beds, scratching posts, pooper-scoopers, litter boxes, catnip, and rawhide bones are also available by request at additional cost. Pet-walking and pet-sitting by third parties available.

Raleigh Hotel – Pets accepted up to 25 pounds with a $100 non-refundable cleaning fee.

Ritz-Carlton South Beach – Pets under 35 pounds welcome with a $250 non-refundable deposit.

Royal Palm South Beach – Pets under 30 pounds allowed, $150 Deposit with $50 non-refundable.

The Setai Hotel – Dogs under 20 pounds allowed. Free dog amenities include a dog bed, temperature controlled water bowl and treat.

South Beach Marriott – Pets are allowed, but there is a non-refundable sanitation fee of $150.

Tides Hotel – Dogs up to 35 pounds welcome with $150 one time fee. The Tides is another hotel that is right across the street from Lummus Park and the most popular beach in all of South Beach.

W South Beach Hotel – All W hotels participate in the P.A.W. (Pets Are Welcome) program, which offers a pet tag, toy, and special pet snacks from a “Pets Room Service Menu.” Wee-Wee pads, litter boxes and leashes available both day and night. There is a $25 per day fee in addition to a one-time $100 cleaning fee, and pets must be under 40 pounds.
